A fun-packed daily program of games, sports, crafts and watery fun for children aged between four and 12 years old. Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the weekend.

Are you a golfer? Guests at The Royal Haciendas are entitled to preferential green fees for play at several prestigious golf courses in the Riviera Maya and the Cancun area. There’s even a Royal Day golf tournament at the different courses during the week for more golfing challenges and fun.

The Royal Haciendas is at the heart of the Riviera Maya, ten minutes north of Playa del Carmen. This waterfront town is famous for “La Quinta,” the lively main street. Area attractions such as Xcaret Park and the ancient Maya city of Tulum are within easy driving distance. The resort is 30 minutes south of Cancún International Airport.

Check-in time is at 4 p.m., checkout time is at 11 a.m.
One registered guest in each villa must be at least 25 years old, have a major credit card, and be willing to accept responsibility for the actions of all room occupants.
Infants are considered 0 to 5 years old and are free of charge
Children are considered 6 to 15 years old
Guests aged 16 and older are to be considered adults
Baby cribs, high chairs, wheelchairs and shower seats are available on request. Special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
A penalty is applicable in the event of a late checkout.
Pets are not permitted at The Royal Haciendas. However, certified service dogs (ADA or ADI registered) are welcome with at least five days prior notice and on presentation of current official certification, a clean bill of health veterinary certificate and signing a liability letter. The Service Dog policy is published in The Royal Haciendas Resort Tips guide.
By law, smoking and vaping are prohibited in villas and rooms, on terraces and on resort premises. If you wish to smoke, please use designated smoking areas. Ask at the Front Desk for locations.
Please note that for guest’s stays crossing a Saturday night, a room move might be required. If this is the case, our management team will assist our guests in order to make this an uneventful process.
A credit card or a cash deposit must be provided at check-in, to cover any additional charges during the stay.
Please note that you will be asked to present the same credit card used to process your reservation and a valid government-issued photo identification during check in.
VISITAX: International visitors are charged a State Government Tax known as VISITAX of $224 pesos per person over the age of 15. You may pay it online before your trip, during your stay or at the Airport prior to departure.
Environmental Tax: A municipal environmental tax (non- negotiable) known as the “Green Tax” is charged to all hotel and resort guests in Playa del Carmen. The amount charged depends on the type of room: Junior Suite, Deluxe One-bedroom Suite or Two-bedroom Master Suite. The tax is in Mexican pesos per room per night payable at the front desk at the time of check-in and is registered on your stay bill.
Additional charges apply for Spa and beauty salon treatments, travel agency, car rental, gift shop, Wedding and Event coordination, medical services and all other services not included in The Royal Haciendas REFINE all-inclusive package.
A surcharge applies for premium dishes and drinks such as lobster, selected prime cuts of beef and certain types of fish, flambéed desserts, specialty coffees and dishes prepared tableside, imported premium liquor and fine wines, some brands of canned beer and soda.
If you are staying at The Royal Haciendas with the REFINE package, your All-Inclusive benefits apply at the resort, your package does not cover restaurants and bars at The Royal Sands or The Royal Cancun. If you decide to visit our Cancun resorts for the day, take a credit or debit card to pay for meals, drinks and any other purchases you may make. This policy also applies for members and guests staying at our Cancun resorts who visit The Royal Haciendas.
For members staying European Plan (room only) and all guests, the room-key charge option is only available at the resort you are staying at. A credit or debit card is required to pay for meals, drinks and purchases when visiting our other resorts for the day.
Purchases made at Thomas More Travel or Alea® Spa may always be charged to the room, regardless of where guests are staying.
