Help the Royal Resorts Foundation spread some happiness this holiday season by participating in the Royal Resorts Toy Drive 2017. We are collecting gifts for disadvantaged children who attend the Huellas de Pan community kitchen in Cancun. With your support we can bring a smile to the faces of many little ones this year.
If you are currently staying at Royal Resorts or will be traveling to Cancun over the Christmas holidays you can help by giving a toy.
What can you donate?
• Barbie and similar dolls
• Superhero toys
• Cars
• Plastic balls
• Soft toys for tots
• Tea sets and other kitchen play sets
• Board games
• Children’s books (in Spanish)
• Coloring books, pencils, crayons and paints
• Craft making sets
• Candies
Please do not donate battery-operated toys, guns and war games

Look for the decorated gift box in the lobby and leave your toys there. Final day for giving toys: January 4, 2018. Royal Resorts employees are also supporting the Royal Resorts Toy Drive 2017 and collecting toys for tots.
Where to buy toys
All the big supermarkets and chain stores in Downtown Cancun and Playa del Carmen have even larger toy departments for the season if you are not sure where to buy gifts. If you prefer to contribute to the Toy Drive by making a donation so that the Foundation can buy toys on your behalf, please contact the Duty Manager.
If you are not traveling to Cancun this season and would like to help, the Royal Resorts Foundation accepts donations of educational material, new toys and new and used clothing (children and adults) in good condition all year round. You can also donate online.
January 5 Children’s Party at Huellas de Pan
On January 5, Royal Resorts Foundation volunteers will be visiting the Huellas de Pan community center in Downtown Cancun to surprise children with the toys collected in the Royal Resorts Toy Drive 2017 and a party with traditional rosca de reyes cake, piñatas and other surprises. January 6, Dia de Reyes or Three Kings Day is the day that Mexican children traditionally receive gifts.
About Huellas de Pan
Huellas de Pan A.C. is a Cancun charity working to combat malnutrition among the poorest members of society. Through its community canteen it provides the nutritious meals that children need for healthy growth and better educational development. The Huellas de Pan community kitchen also serves meals to the elderly and anyone in need.
Through the Royal Resorts Foundation, Royal Resorts supports community and conservation projects in the Cancun area and the state of Quintana Roo. It provides study scholarships for children at the Mano Amiga School, sponsors cancer screening and treatment for women on a low income, physiotherapy for special needs children and provides emergency relief for employees in times of serious illness.
