BACK TO SCHOOL: ROYAL RESORTS FOUNDATION NEWS

The Royal Resorts Foundation provides scholarships for a class of girls studying at Colegio Mano Amiga in the Ciudad de la Alegria community center on the outskirts of Cancun. We are happy to report that after 18 months of absence from the classroom due to the COVID-19 lockdown, these star pupils are finally able to return to school.

Children went back to school on September 1 and our Colegio Mano Amiga students will be following a dual program this semester, their classroom sessions to be combined with the continuing online courses they have been taking for over a year.

Classes at Colegio Mano Amiga take place with mask use, social distancing and strict hygiene measures to keep children and staff safe.

We are sure that our young students are thrilled to be back, to see their friends and teachers again, and to continue learning. We wish them every success.

In August, the Royal Resorts Foundation donated $108,000 pesos to the Colegio Mano Amiga scholarship program for this class of 31 girls.
