In mid-September the last few female turtles of the season laid their eggs and the tally of nests in the corral at The Royal Sands now stands at 371 with 41,982 precious eggs. To date, the security team has released 18,002 baby turtles to begin life at sea. Many more will follow in the weeks to come.
