Here’s our monthly gallery showcasing some of the region’s many natural and historical attractions. How many have you visited?  Which ones would you like to explore on future visits to Royal Resorts?

Cenote-Kin-Ha

Cenote Kin-Ha

This popular cenote park on the Cenote Route near Puerto Morelos comprises 12 jungle sinkholes, the most spectacular of which are Kin-Ha and Blanca Flor. There is a zip lining circuit, and other activities available in the park are horse riding and ATV drives.

Xpu-Ha

Xpu-Ha

Although several large resorts now call Xpu-Ha home, the southern stretches of this long bay preserve their charms of palm trees, palapas and rustic beach bars. Find your spot under the palms, snack on fresh seafood and enjoy the spectacular Caribbean views from dawn to sunset and stay on to see the moon and stars.

Punta Laguna

Punta Laguna

A short drive from Cobá archaeological site, this jungle-rimmed lagoon is worth a stop. The forest is rich in wildlife, including families of spider monkeys that forage in the treetops for chicozapote fruit. Villagers offer guided tours along nature trails to point out native birds, animals and plants.

San Felipe, Yucatan

San Felipe, Yucatan

If you are bound for Rio Lagartos this fall to see the flamingos, after your trip through the mangroves and lagoons to see one of the Yucatan´s great natural wonders, why not explore a little further?
