The latest turtle statistics continue to break records at Royal Resorts. To date, there are 764 nests in the corrals at The Royal Sands and The Royal Caribbean and 93,186 eggs have already been protected. Staff and guests have released 21,319 baby turtles to begin life at sea and thousands more are due to hatch in the coming weeks.
As female turtles are still coming ashore to lay their eggs and are likely to do so until mid-September, this remarkable nesting season looks set to continue.
