Sponsored by Grand Residences, Rocky Patel Cigars, Rockefeller Spirits and Ambhar Tequila, among others, the First Annual Grand Residences Cigar Smokers Weekend is a sister event to the famous Balboa Bay Club Gentleman’s Smoker in Newport Beach, California. Now in its 29th year, this prestigious charity event is the largest gathering of its kind in the United States.
Two of the cigar world’s leading aficionados, renowned hotelier and founder of the Smoker Dinner concept, Henry Schielein, and Rocky Patel, one of the leaders of the cigar industry will be the hosts for the inaugural Grand Residences Smoker Weekend. A variety of industry luminaries including the world’s top mixologist, Armando Rosario will also be attending.
The Grand Residences Smoker Weekend is priced at US$225 per person.
Special Smoker Weekend accommodations in a spacious Jr. Suite with ocean or beach view are available at US$350 per night with a US$150 resort credit per day for stays as early as January 23 and departures on January 27. Round trip airport transfer to the resort is included.
The crowning moment of the Smoker Weekend will be the Smoker evening on Saturday, January 25, when attendees will partake of a five-course dinner, fine wines and spirits, a selection of top-class cigars and live entertainment. There will also be a live and silent auction for charity.
The Smoker Weekend program also includes a variety of daytime activities such as golf, fishing, cooking classes and cultural trips.
Following in the footsteps of the Balboa Bay Club Gentlemen’s Smoker, The Grand Residences Smoker Weekend is a charity event. The proceeds from the Saturday evening auction will be donated to the Mano Amiga School for underprivileged children in Cancún.
