If you are staying at The Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya this week, put on your running shoes on Sunday, April 7 and join staff and fellow guests in a run to celebrate World Health Day and raise money for a good cause.
Members and guests may sign up for the 3 or 5 km run at the Sports Desk or the Activities Center. The registration fee is $15 US per person and includes a t-shirt, medal and race number.
This run is also a fundraiser for the Royal Resorts Foundation. With your support we can help provide life-saving screening and medical treatment for cancer patients and emergency relief for employees in times of serious illness
The Royal Haciendas plans to organize additional races in the future to spread the message about the importance of keeping fit among members, guests and employees, to have fun and to raise money for the Royal Resorts Foundation. The causes the Royal Resorts Foundation is supporting in 2013 are the fight against cancer, education for needy children, conservation of the Mayan Jungle and the employee emergency relief fund.
