[box]New Water Sports and Activities at Royal Resorts
Are you planning a trip to Royal Resorts soon? There are some new activities and sports to enjoy during your stay.
Paddleboards and kayaks are now available at The Royal Cancun, in addition to the sailboats that many members know and love. The calm waters of the bay are the perfect place to try paddle boarding, a new sport that is all the rage in Cancun. For more information contact the Sports Desk during your stay.
If you want to go cycling during your stay at The Royal Haciendas call in at the Sports Desk and sign out one of the new bikes, helmets and jackets.
There’s even more news from The Royal Haciendas. If you love the water, three new aquatic activities are now available: kite boarding and classes, paddle boarding and classes and paddle board yoga. Make reservations with the wave runner staff on the beach or at the tour desk.[/box]
[box]Upgrading Wi-Fi Service at The Royal Haciendas
Work is underway this month to improve the Wi-Fi signal at The Royal Haciendas. Antennas will be upgraded with the latest technology in order to raise the quality of the signal and enhance compatibility with most devices.
Installation and testing will be completed by mid-April and during this period members and guests may notice that the quality and speed of the Wi-Fi signal are inconsistent at times. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this process may cause.
Members requiring technical assistance may call *HELP (*4357) where Wi-Fi support staff will be happy to help them.[/box]
[box]New at The Royal Market
New to all The Royal Market stores at the Royal Resorts are herb, oatmeal, tomato and Parmesan cheese baguettes and the Samper line of deli meats (roast beef, pastrami, ham and salami, among others) for tasty sandwiches. For the weight-conscious, Mayan Sweet Stevia and Chai tea sweetened with stevia are now available as sugar substitutes.
Don’t miss the wine tastings on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at all stores except the Captain’s Cove branch. You can also try Doña Pura sauces, a Mexican brand of gourmet salsas, on Saturday and Monday, ask for tasting times.
Keep in touch with your friends back home, pick up a SIM card or chip for your mobile phone from the store.
If you are staying at The Royal Sands, stop by for a cup of Starbucks coffee, a slice of cake or a freshly baked pastry at the new-look Royal Roast Coffee Co.

Pool lifts are now available at The Royal Cancun, The Royal Sands and The Royal Islander (also serving The Royal Caribbean) to improve access to the swimming pools for members and guests with physical challenges. If you or someone in your family need to use the lift during your stay, please contact Security personnel for assistance.[/box]
[box]Distintivo H Award for The Royal Islander & The Royal Haciendas Restaurants
The restaurants at The Royal Islander and The Royal Haciendas have scored a perfect 100% in their Distintivo H evaluation for excellence in food preparation and kitchen hygiene and storage.
After rigorous kitchen and dining room inspections, Cayo Largo, Paco’s Tacos and El Conquistador at The Royal Islander in Cancun and Los Murales, La Palapa del Sol and Sol & Luna Grill at The Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya achieved top marks. The Royal Haciendas achieved the perfect score for the fourth year running and for The Royal Islander it was the third.
The Distintivo H is the Mexican Tourism Board’s restaurant certification program and it recognizes excellence in food preparation, handling, storage and kitchen hygiene standards.
In 2014, the restaurants and kitchens at The Royal Sands, The Royal Cancun, The Royal Caribbean, Grand Residences and Captain’s Cove restaurant also received the Distintivo H, passing their inspections with flying colors.[/box]
