Several renovation projects were completed at The Royal Cancun the week before and during Maintenance Week. The tiles were replaced in the main swimming pool, the Kids Club was remodeled and a covered terrace added.
The kitchen at La Palapa has been remodeled to make better use of the space, and to improve designated work areas for staff and the overall look of the restaurant. The restaurant deck has also been given a facelift and in the Phase II pool bar the open-air grill has been replaced with an electric grill with a extractor to reduce cooking smells.
