It comes in at number 10 behind beaches in Brazil, Australia and Wales, among others.
Several of the Mexican Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches are also in Trip Advisor’s Top 10 Beaches in Mexico 2014. Playa Norte is number 1, Akumal number 2, Cancún’s Playa Delfines (recently awarded Blue Flag status for its pristine state) is at number 7 and Paradise Beach on Cozumel at number 9.
