Great news for families! The Royal Haciendas will soon have an aqua park for children. Work has begun on this new play area in the Phase 1 children’s pool and the project will be completed in the first quarter of 2021.

We think that our youngest guests will love the aqua park’s slides and tunnels and will have hours of watery fun.

That’s not all, after the summer opening of Kinoko, the resort’s Asian fusion restaurant, members will soon have another new eatery to try. A wood-burning pizza oven is being installed in the Luna Grill kitchen and the poolside grill will be serving up Bartolo’s classic pizzas at lunchtime and a selection of gourmet pizzas in the evening as Pizza Luna. Pastas will be added at a later date.

Just imagine, dining under the stars on pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven, with the sound of the waves in the background; more unforgettable Riviera Maya moments at The Royal Haciendas.

The sun deck repaving project is also progressing. By year-end, 3,000 square meters of tiles will have been replaced with the anti slip concrete/stone mix and a further 6,000 square meters will be done in 2021. The new flooring has been well received by members; it is cooler, durable and dries out more quickly after rainfall.

And finally, the Members Lounge has been a very popular addition to the resort. We hope that you will pop in on your next visit. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with valet service, coffee, tea and cookies. If you would like to use it in the evening ask at the Front Desk (no evening valet or coffee service).
