The long awaited new evening Light & Sound Show at Chichen Itza was finally unveiled on December 10. Using the latest video and light technology to create video images that ripple across the Pyramid of Kukulcan under a star-filled sky, Noches de Kukulcan tells the story of ancient gods and warriors, the origin of the Maya and the extraordinary civilization they forged.
The Light & Sound Show begins with a short tour of the Great Plaza and an introduction to Mayan culture and the history of Chichen Itza before the screening. There are two shows nightly at 7 and 9 p.m.
