For the second year running Captain’s Cove has scooped up the prestigious Distintivo H award for food preparation and kitchen hygiene, this time scoring top marks of 100 percent.

The Distintivo H is a seal of approval awarded by the Mexican Tourism Board and restaurant and resort kitchens have to undergo a rigorous inspection process in order to achieve certification. On this occasion, Tradewinds also passed with flying colors and a score of 100 percent. This follows Grand Residences’ Distintivo H reported in an earlier edition of this newsletter.

Captain’s Cove received a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence earlier this year and continues to win fans with its delicious fresh seafood, romantic waterfront setting and breathtaking sunsets.

Captain’s Cove, Grand Residences and The Royal Caribbean received their Distintivo H at a ceremony on August 19 presided over by Laura Fernandez de Pina, Secretary of Tourism for the State of Quintana Roo and Paul Carrillo de Caceres, Mayor of Cancun.
