Meet Christie Griffiths who recently joined Royal Resorts as VP of Marketing. She brings more than 14 years of experience in the vacation ownership and hospitality industry to the Marketing and Sales department and her expertise, creativity and leadership skills will be an asset as the company moves forward.Christie has held positions ranging from Director of Marketing Mexico for Starwood Vacation Ownership to Regional Director of IH Marketing for Sol Melía Vacation Club overseeing in-house and regional marketing programs at its properties in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, the Canary Islands and Spain. Prior to that, she worked in sales for Club Greece Resorts and in her first year with the company won awards as best sales representative in terms of volume and closing.Christie is an accomplished trainer and mentor and excels at brand training, team building and relationship management. She has extensive experience working with branded hotel properties and is renowned for her ability to relate to and work with staff of all levels. Strategic planning and execution, cost management and location acquisition and development are other strengths. At Royal Resorts Christie will be responsible for Marketing staff training, brand training and will manage the Concierge department.Originally from Carmarthen in Wales, Christie has a B.A. in Performing Arts from Arts International, York, United Kingdom, a degree in Business Studies from the University of Wales (DL) and further studies in Marketing.We are sure that you would like to join us in welcoming Christie to the Royal Resorts Marketing & Sales team.
