For the fifth year running Cancun and the Convention and Visitors Bureau have won World Travel Awards. Cancun was voted Best Vacation Destination in Mexico and Central America (a category it has dominated since 2009) and Best Beach Destination and the CVB won acclaim for its work promoting the Mexican Caribbean. The awards will be presented in London during the World Travel Market in November.
In other news, British Airways presented Cancun with an Attitude Award as one of its most popular destinations and one that has registered the most growth.
