Cancun has won the Expedia Destination of the Year award in recognition of its popularity and its attractions. Jesus Almaguer, director of the Cancun Visitors & Convention Bureau accepted the trophy at the Tianguis Travel Fair in Acapulco as it is awarded to the destination with the most successful marketing campaign.
