Royal Resorts Foundation volunteers also help out at a monthly church event for the aged organized by the Comedor Guadalupano para Abuelitos. The guests of honor are old folks from poor districts who are often on their own in Cancún with no family to support them and this event gives them the opportunity to attend mass, enjoy lunch, live music and dancing.
Royal Resorts helps cater the meal for the attendees and volunteers spend time chatting with the guests, even joining them to take a turn on the dance floor.
The Foundation will be participating in this event every month.
