Royal Resorts members, guests and staff are rallying to the cause and donating generously to the Royal Resorts Foundation. As of March 1, $170,000 pesos had been raised. The overall goal is to raise $120,000 US for the four causes that the Foundation is supporting in 2012.
• 144 scholarships for children from poverty stricken households so that they can continue their education at the Mano Amiga School in Ciudad de la Alegría.

• The Grupo Desafio A.C. Cancer Awareness campaign and providing 250 mammograms, 300 APE studies for prostate cancer and 250 HPV vaccinations for suspected cases of Human Papillomavirus.

• Conservation of the Mayan Jungle and the creatures that inhabit it; the goal is to raise money to enable Amigos de Sian Ka’an A.C. to purchase 5,000 of forest thus safeguarding it and offsetting the effects of global warming.

• The Royal Resorts Employee Relief Fund, offering a helping hand to staff coping with grave illnesses, major surgery, accidents, and to provide care for the terminally ill.

There are several ways to donate
• Via the Club Service Fee bill
• Bank transfer
• At the resort, make a donation when you settle your Club Bill, place loose change in the collection boxes or round up when you shop at The Royal Market
• By participating in specific Royal Resorts Foundation activities organized by the Activity Centers such as Recycling Art and a Friday Finger Painting workshop.
One couple recently donated $1,000 US to the cancer and conservation campaigns and others have donated cribs and scholastic materials.
