We are excited about the opening of our latest resort, Royal Uno® All Inclusive Resort & Spa and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests this December. In the months leading up to the opening, we will be giving you a glimpse of some of the services and amenities to look forward to as part of the brand-new Royal Uno vacation experience. This month we will take a sneak peek at some of the fun activities in store.
Endless activities
Time on Cancun’s finest beach, in the pool and a program of activities, sports and games during the day means there’s always non-stop fun for the whole family.
Guests can start the morning with yoga, pilates, zumba or aqua fitness in the pool and who wouldn’t want to go for a walk along the beautiful shoreline? They can brush up on their Spanish with a class or fine-tune their Latin dance steps, whether it’s salsa, merengue or bachata. For a real taste of Mexico, cooking and mixology classes will reveal the secrets of the country’s rich culinary heritage and make them tequila and mezcal connoisseurs.
There is plenty of sports fun too, with beach and pool volleyball, soccer, water basketball and floating ping-pong lined up. Games include bean bag toss, horseshoes, boccieball, card games and an all-time favorite, bingo.
The fun continues after dark with live music, karaoke, a DJ Night and parties during the week and the Kukulcantina Bar and Star Bar are cool gathering places.
Teens can join in many of the sports and games during the day and they have their own activity program featuring fitness sessions and video games.
Sail boating and kayaks
For more watery fun, the nearby Royal Marina next to Captain’s Cove restaurant offers sail boats and kayaks for lagoon tours and classes are available. Guests can sign up at the Sports Desk.
Uno Kids
Of course, as any parents of small children know all too well, keeping the youngest members of the family happy and entertained is key to parents’ relaxation too and at Royal Uno we have taken care of every detail. Children have their own fun space called Uno Kids where they can play and make new friends. They will enjoy themselves so much they won’t want to leave.
There are climbing frames, slides and other play areas for them to enjoy in the Kids Club and they have their own pool with a water play area. Supervised activities are on a different theme every day and will keep them busy and entertained. They range from a Pirate’s Day or Chef’s Day to a Mexican Day and a Nature Day to get them interested in wildlife and conservation and will include games, arts and crafts sessions, board games, pool fun and much more. Children also have their own evening activities such as a movie night and a Mexican Fair.
Family time
For more quality family time together, the comfy, welcoming Cancool Family Room is the place for, video games or winding down before bed with a movie or book.

And when guests want to go exploring the wonders of the Mexican Caribbean and Yucatan, there is a travel agency desk for booking tours and water sports and the Concierges are always on hand to help with reservations, information and activity recommendations.
