From helping those in need to children’s education, medical care and support for shelters and the elderly, Royal Resorts community work is varied. On this occasion, as part of a Riviera Maya Hotel Association community outreach program, volunteers from The Royal Haciendas visited the Mayan villages of San Antonio, San Hipolito, X-Hazil Norte, X-Hazil Primero, Sacabchen y Kankabzonot in the municipal district of Felipe Carrillo Puerto to help distribute food, clothing, kitchen utensils, towels and sheets to needy families.

The Mayan villages visited on this occasion are all located in the Mayan heartland of the state or Zona Maya, a rural area with high levels of poverty. On this occasion, 120 families received aid and more visits are planned during the year.
