The Royal Haciendas turns 17 this month and is looking more beautiful than ever. With each year that passes we expand the activities, dining options and guest services for you to enjoy and we love welcoming you back to paradise. We are sure you will join us in wishing Resort Manager Sandra Aguilar and her team a happy anniversary. Here’s to many more sun-kissed days and starlit nights in the Riviera Maya.
A wonderful setting
From the beautiful beach and the offshore reefs in the bay to the nearby mangroves and jungle, The Royal Haciendas is in a magical spot. With its arches, columns, terraces and roof crests, the stunning architecture evokes the grand old haciendas of the Yucatan. The gardens are full of ponds and fountains and the sound of running water is always close by. Hummingbirds, bees and butterflies are busy among the brightly colored hibiscus, ixora and bougainvillea flowers. The native trees that grow throughout the grounds such as ceiba, chaka and zapote are home to a variety of birds including turtle doves, orioles, kiskadees and even woodpeckers. Swallows dip and glide above the arches, terns dive for fish out to sea and the pelican dawn patrol flies along the beach. All this you can watch from your villa terrace at breakfast as you plan the day ahead or take an early morning stroll.

Practice your Spanish and pick up new Latin dance steps with the Activity team.
Children will love the fun-packed Kids Club program, the children’s pools and the aqua playground in Phase I.

Whenever you want to do a spot of sightseeing, Thomas More Travel offers a variety of tours and water sports, car rentals and transport services. The world-famous reefs of Cozumel are only an 18-minute boat ride away and scuba fans can book dive trips at Dive Balam.
