New vacation experiences to try this year
Make 2024 the year that you try a new experience on your Royal Resorts vacation. There’s always something incredible to enjoy, whether it’s a family activity to share on the beach or poolside, a fun class, a Mexican recipe or getting out and exploring the world of wonders that is on your doorstep. Here are some ideas.
Splash time
If you enjoy snorkeling, how about taking a scuba resort course on your next trip so that you can explore the Mesoamerican Reef and see its colorful inhabitants up close? Ask at the Thomas More Travel desk about courses and dive trips. If you prefer to be on the ocean waves, enjoy sail boating in the bay at The Royal Cancun and through Nichupte Lagoon. Learn how to paddle board and try your hand at kayaking at The Royal Haciendas and The Royal Cancun.
Make the Spa part of your vacation wellness routine
After a hectic year and even busier holiday season, your body will be crying out for some rest and relaxation in the Caribbean sun. On your next Royal Resorts vacation, why not pencil in some Spa time and give your body the care it really needs. Start with a massage to ease those tense and aching muscles, choose a body wrap to eliminate toxins or a hydrating facial full of the goodness of herbs and fruit to nurture dry, tired skin and boost your defenses with powerful antioxidants and vitamins.
Located at The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas, Alea Spa has everything you need to put you on the path to wellness. The Spa therapists will recommend facials or body wraps that are suitable for your skin type and your particular needs.
Keep fit
Yoga, power stretching and aqua aerobics are just some of the keep fit activities available during the day at Royal Resorts. Work out in the resort gym or sign out rackets and balls and enjoy a game of tennis with family and friends. You can also book classes with the tennis pro at the Sports Desk if you would like to work on aspects of your game.
Make a morning walk along the beach part of your vacation fitness routine and remember that you can also sign out bikes from the Sports Desk if you would like to go for a bike ride.
Activity time
Brush up on your Spanish skills with the Activity team, learn salsa dance steps, and have fun on the sun deck at The Royal Haciendas with giant chess and even archery sessions. There’s always something new to enjoy, whether it’s sports, games or art sessions. Call in at the Activity Center or check the resort app for ideas.
The Kids Club has plenty of fun activities for our youngest guests too, keeping them busy and entertained throughout their stay.
Get out and explore the area
From beaches and eco-adventure parks to ancient Mayan temples and historic cities, nature reserves, mysterious caves and cenotes, coral reefs and Caribbean islands, there is so much to discover in the Yucatan Peninsula.
