As a measure to improve the Internet experience for members and guests and boost the connection speed, modems have been installed in the villas at The Royal Haciendas, The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun (The Royal Caribbean and The Royal Islander coming soon) to offer high-speed Wi-Fi, with an exclusive 5MB connection per unit. The individual modems and greater bandwidth will provide a quicker and more reliable connection for checking email, photos and video conferencing.
This new service currently costs $8US per stay (maximum of eight days). As of January 4, 2014, it is included in the annual Club Service Fee and there will be no additional charge for members.
