We would like to share some information about Food & Beverage maintenance and renovation projects at The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun.
At The Royal Sands, the two pool bars in Phase 1 and the Char Hut pool grill in Phase 2 are being remodeled to give them a new look and to upgrade the kitchen installations in preparation for future projects. All the tiling is being removed in the bars and it will be replaced with granite and a leather-style finish.
Work is already underway and steps have been taken to minimize the impact on the vacation experience for members and guests. Although the wet bar is now closed at Char Hut, the palapa bar is open for snacks and lunch (with a smaller menu). In the case of the pool bar in phase 1, the wet bar is also closed, but the food and drink service is still available.
The project will be completed in mid-November (weather permitting).
At The Royal Cancun, La Trattoria will be closed on September 27 for maintenance and the menu will be available in La Palapa restaurant. The work will include replacing the floor in the bar and the staircase to the lobby and it will be completed during Maintenance Week.
