Cancun celebrates its 50th birthday on April 20 with cultural, gastronomic and sporting events, concerts and more planned throughout the year. The program has yet to be unveiled by the Cancun City Government but the first news is that there will be 200 different activities.
Several commemorative Cancun50 souvenirs will be available during the year. They include a Cancun50 coin, a limited edition wine from the El Cielo vineyard in Baja California and a bottle of mezcal.
