With the addition of a fourth terminal in late 2017, the growth of Cancun Airport continues and in December it welcomed passenger No. 22 million. Passenger numbers for the year were 10.5 percent up on 2016 and this includes an 8.4 percent increase for international arrivals.
In more Cancun flight news, Canadian airline Sunwing is offering weekly winter season flights to Cancun from Mont-Joli in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec until March 22. United Airlines is also offering a new flight linking Denver and Cozumel, available until April 7.
