The Royal Resorts Foundation promotes children’s education as one of its community causes and helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds with grants to enable them to study. As a result of the Dollar a Stay campaign at the resorts and the generous donations of members, guests and employees, we are able to give scholarships to children studying at the Colegio Mano Amiga in Ciudad de la Alegría in Cancun.

We thought you’d like to see some of the most recent graduates from the Mano Amiga School in this video. These happy, smiling five and six-year-olds have just finished their third year of preschool and are ready for the next stage of their primary education in the fall. They want to say a resounding and heartfelt “gracias” for your support.

In other Foundation news, our team of Royal triathletes recently took part in a swimming race across the bay to Isla Mujeres and a run organized by the Cancun Polytechnic, both to raise money for our community and conservation causes.
