Calling all Frida fans, if you love the paintings of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, you’ll soon be able to see some of her original work, learn more about her life and what inspired her in a new museum set to open in Playa del Carmen in 2017.
The Playa museum will be the second in the world dedicated to Frida Kahlo and it will be located next to the restaurant of the same name. The exhibits will include Kahlo paintings and sketches from private collections and other sources and the selected work of local artists who take their inspiration from the groundbreaking work of Frida.
