Are you heading for The Royal Haciendas this winter, be sure to check out the new theme night on Friday, Ancient Mexican Flavors. Embark on a culinary journey into the past with a selection of dishes from the north, center and south of the country that celebrate the sheer diversity of locally sourced ingredients, all prepared using time-honored recipes and cooking techniques.
Dishes include whole fish baked in corn leaves, mixiotes, pumpkin flower, wild mushroom and beef skewers and chicken tlatonil, a dish with sesame and pumpkin seed and chili sauce from Veracruz, and more.
If you love Mexico and its World Heritage cuisine, don’t miss this new dining experience. And there’s more traditional food to sample, live music and folk dances on Monday during Mexican Night.

Live music
There’s more live music to enjoy at La Rotonda too, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. during the week. On Monday enjoy a soloist called Jimmy, on Wednesday the Almas Acústicas group takes to the stage, on Thursday Trio Latino and Friday Banda Sahara will get your feet tapping. Tuesday night is karaoke night, there’s DJ lounge music on Saturday and bingo on Sunday.
