Test your golf skills on your next Royal Resorts vacation and enjoy the fresh air and the camaraderie of your Cancun golf buddies with a round at one of these prestigious local courses. They all have course designs that celebrate the landscape and the views of the Caribbean and jungle and incorporate natural features such as cenotes and rock outcrops to challenge players. As a Royal Resorts member or guest, tap into special green fees and sign up for the tournaments at Puerto Cancun and El Camaleon Mayakoba.

Puerto Cancun

Designed by Tom Weiskopf, Cancun’s newest course stretches for 7,241 yards between the bay and Puerto Cancun marina. Holes 15 and 16 overlook the beach and Hole 18 is the most challenging. Marina Town Center mall is nearby for shopping and dining.

El Camaleon Mayakoba

Designed by Greg Norman, this spectacular 7,024-yard par 72 Riviera Maya course has a jungle and mangrove setting with cenotes, canals, rock outcrops and beach views. The recently renovated Clubhouse is the perfect spot for a drink or a bite to eat after your round.

Gran Coyote

Designed by Nick Price, the Gran Coyote golf club is located behind The Royal Haciendas in CoraSol, Riviera Maya. This 7,050-yard course has challenging bunkers and water features. Hole 7 is the most difficult one to play.

Sign up for the weekly Royal Day golf tournament during your stay and meet fellow Royal Resorts golfers. Days and times are as follows: Sunday after 12 p.m. at El Camaleon Mayakoba (at least eight players) and Tuesday at Puerto Cancun (at least 12 players).
