Non-stop fun at Uno Kids

Uno Kids offers daily activities for children aged between four and 12 years. Beach fun, pool games and a variety of crafts will keep them busy and entertained all day long and there are immersive learning activities to enrich their Cancun vacation experience. There’s an indoor play area with colorful murals, chairs and tables for lottery, painting, bracelet making and other classes and mats for dancing, games and much more.

The activity program includes everything from learning Spanish and dance steps to cooking classes and art to bring out creative talents, video games, ping pong and jenga. Treasure hunts, a balloon battle in the pool, mini Olympics and a Friday pinata and mini disco are Kids Club highlights.

With slides and waterfalls, there’s plenty of splashy fun in store in the Uno Kids pool.

Cancool family room is the spot for video games, movies, foosball and ping pong and teens will love the chair swings and cool décor. Families can gather here to share fun time in the evenings before younger children go to bed.

All-day fun for adults

A day at Royal Uno starts with watching the glorious Caribbean sunrise on the terrace and a walk on the beach. At 9 a.m. there is yoga on the pool deck or stretching, followed by Zumba or aqua fitness session later in the morning. Guests can brush up on their Spanish, take a craft class, play water polo or basketball ping pong, bocce or bingo, test their knowledge of music and movies in a quiz, join in fun contests and more.

A cooking class with the chef unlocks the secrets of the perfect paella, great guacamole, mole, the smooth mildly spicy-sweet sauce made with chocolate, chili, sesame seeds and nuts that is one of the masterpieces of the Mexican kitchen, and the art of taco preparation for the next party back home.

Later in the afternoon, guests can also learn new dance moves in a salsa and merengue class.
An afternoon mixology session in Kukul Cantina gives guests a glimpse of how Royal Uno’s signature cocktails are made and there are tequila, wine and rum tastings during the week (adults only).

Guests can see what’s happening and where and plan their daily activity schedule with the Royal Uno app.

Set sail on the lagoon

At the Sports Desk, guests can sign up to use kayaks and sailboats on the lagoon at the Royal Marina.

Evening entertainment

There’s DJ music on the deck and a different dinner show every night to enjoy, ranging from a celebration of Mexican music and dance to a pre-Hispanic show, the Big Top, a Fire show and live music performances (acoustic guitar, singer-guitarist, saxophone and violin) as you dine. Later in the evening and for adults only, listen to more live music in Kukul Cantina or go to the Star Bar for DJ Night.
