Mexican Caribbean sunshine returns after Hurricane Grace
The sun is shining again in the Mexican Caribbean and members and guests at Royal Resorts are ready for more fantastic vacation moments after Hurricane Grace.
Our amazing staff worked hard to clean the resort pools and we are happy to report that they are now open for guests to enjoy. The Aqua Park at The Royal Haciendas reopens this morning at 11 a.m. for the little ones.
Beach cleaning is underway, and brigades are removing seaweed, debris and straightening some of the palapas. We hope to be able to reopen the accesses during the day.
Our restaurants, activity centers, kids clubs, stores, and spas are all operating normally. The pool bars will open today at the usual time, ready to serve their famous Caribbean cocktails.
We hope that our members and guests on property will enjoy the rest of their stay with us, and we are ready to welcome incoming guests this Saturday. As always, there are delicious new dining options for them to discover and new services to enjoy, with Royal Care Standard measures to keep them safe.
Elsewhere in the Mexican Caribbean, the report is of minimal storm damage, uprooted trees, fallen signs, palapas, some power outages, and the like. The clean-up is in progress. Cancun airport is open, and the area is ready to receive visitors.
