Hacienda Sisal and Captain’s Cove restaurants are longtime Cancun favorites, enjoyed by Royal Resorts members and guests, Cancun visitors and local residents alike. At this time of economic recovery from the pandemic and with the goal of generating additional income, particularly as low season approaches, the Resort Business Management Team has decided to open our other specialty restaurants to the public. It is using the OpenTable restaurant reservation app as part of its promotion strategy.
El Conquistador at The Royal Islander, La Trattoria at The Royal Cancun, and Los Murales and Kinoko at The Royal Haciendas now join Captain’s Cove and Hacienda Sisal on the OpenTable app.
Members will always have priority when booking a table at these restaurants
If you have concerns about how this may affect your dining experience at these restaurants, we would like to set your mind at rest. Nothing will change. Royal Resorts members and guests will always have priority whenever they make restaurant reservations, and you can look forward to many more delicious meals at all our specialty restaurants. The staff in the Restaurant Reservations Center are at your service to help you book your table.
Peak dining times popular with members will be blocked on OpenTable
Reservations made by external customers through OpenTable are subject to availability. Furthermore, as policy, popular peak times will be blocked in the app to ensure that our members and guests always have first choice when they want to book a table for dinner. Restaurant Reservations Center staff will have full control and record of all reservations.
Access to the resorts is controlled and upon arrival, external visitors will show their reservation confirmation to be registered by the security guards. A member of staff will then escort them to the restaurant.
It is important to note that there will always be busy times in the restaurants even when external reservations are blocked, and we recommend that members book in advance for peak hours by calling the Restaurant Reservations Center at ext. 165, sending an email to restaurants@royalresorts.com or through their Personal Concierge ext. 172.
All other restaurants and bars at Royal Resorts are exclusively for members and guests to enjoy.
