The Spa is your sanctuary and we have taken every precaution to protect you and give you peace of mind. As part of the Royal Care Standard we have raised our strict hygiene standards even further by introducing extra sanitization protocols in the Spas at The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas. They include the mandatory use of masks, social distancing measures and additional hygiene procedures in the treatment rooms, for work counters and utensils, in the wet area, beauty salon and the gym. The number of people permitted to use the wet area and gyms at any given time has been reduced. Staff have a daily temperature check and health survey and take every precaution, including surgical hand washing, as they prepare to receive you.
An aromatherapy massage might be the thing to soothe frazzled nerves and restore harmony. A collection of essential oils extracted from aromatic herbs, flowers and fruit chosen for their therapeutic qualities is set out before you. You will sniff the different blends sight unseen and select the one that you like the best and that your body needs.
Then there’s the Rosdamiana body wrap and facial, which harnesses the healing power of damiana, a Mexican herb, with aloe, honey, royal jelly, linseed and pumpkin seed and the fragrance of flowers and fruit such as roses, jasmine, lavender, peach and pomegranate. This treatment hydrates and firms the skin, has a calming effect and helps to balance hormones.
Or how about a beach or villa massage, they are available at all our resorts. Enjoy the open air, the sea breeze and the spectacular views of white sand and turquoise waters in a pergola on the sun deck or on your own terrace. Staff carefully sanitize massage tables and equipment as they do in the Spa.

The Spa at The Royal Sands is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., wet area from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. At The Royal Haciendas Spa opening hours are currently from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are required.
