In accordance with municipal and state laws, the Royal Market is no longer using plastic bags for packing. Eco-friendly cloth bags are on sale at all our resort stores at cost price. The cashiers also invite shoppers to use the shopping trolleys to transport their purchases to their villas.
• Sale of alcohol in The Royal Market
By law the sale of alcohol is permitted from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

For a healthy beach snack, there are vegetable, chickpea and quinoa chips in stock. Have you tried mezcal, Mexico’s other liquor, fast becoming as famous as tequila? The Royal Market stocks a number of brands such as 400 Conejos (400 Rabbits). A fun scale on the bottle tells you how many rabbits you might see as the bottle is drunk!
