Saturday
You have just arrived and after a long flight you have worked up quite an appetite. How about Prime Rib night at Captain’s Cove? Tender beef cooked to perfection and a bottle of wine on the terrace, what a great start to your vacation.
Sunday
Meet up with friends for an evening at El Conquistador in The Royal Islander. Enjoy delightful cuisine, a candlelit setting and music from master guitarist Jorge Duran, who is celebrating 31 years of performances at Royal Resorts.
Monday
For many long-time Royal Resorts visitors Monday night means one thing, Lobster night at The Royal Cancun. Enjoy grilled lobster at La Palapa overlooking the beach and watch the boats sail past on the bay. This is Caribbean life to be treasured.
However, Monday night is also Mexican Night, with a tasty traditional buffet and live Mexican music in La Veranda at The Royal Sands and the popular Mexican Show at Captain’s Cove.
Mexican Night in the Captain’s Cove bar area includes a buffet, margaritas and a folk dance show.
Tuesday
For more delicious Mexican cuisine, Tuesday could be a very good day to visit Hacienda Sisal next to The Royal Sands. There’s a new Taco Tuesday promotion to try at lunchtime and plenty of tempting dishes to choose on the dinner menu. There’s live Mexican music on Tuesdays and Thursdays to listen to as you dine.
Also at The Royal Sands, try the Italian & Seafood night for freshly made pasta frutti di mare, shrimp fettuccine and other mouthwatering dishes
Wednesday
Wednesday night is Caribbean Night at Captain’s Cove. Dine on island dishes such as Jamaican Jerk chicken, fried plantains and Cuban Ropa Vieja stewed beef from the buffet. Sip a daiquiri or mojito and watch the colorful, fast-paced Caribbean dance show.
As an alternative, there’s an Oriental Night at La Veranda in The Royal Sands with freshly made sushi, sashimi, kushiaguis, wok stir-fries and a selection of Chinese dishes on the buffet including almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef chop suey and Szechuan-style fish.

Thursday
It’s time for the taste of Italy at La Trattoria, The Royal Cancun. Dine on flavorful salads, pizzas, freshly made pastas and traditional home-style dishes and be sure to save space for dessert.
As an alternative, why not try Paco’s Tacos in The Royal Islander for a casual fun supper of Mexico’s favorite street food, tacos?
Friday
Friday night might be the evening for a poolside cookout at The Royal Sands or a repeat visit to Captain’s Cove, El Conquistador or Hacienda Sisal for a farewell dinner with friends.

Royal Dining in the Riviera Maya, The Royal Haciendas
Staying at The Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya? There are plenty of dining choices for you too. The signature restaurant Los Murales offers an evening of fine cuisine and live guitar music in an elegant setting. In La Palapa del Sol choose from the a la carte menu or theme night buffets during the week. They start with Mexican Night on Saturday with a Mariachi band. Sunday night is Brazilian Night with live music, there’s a BBQ Night on Monday. Tuesday night is Oriental Night; on Wednesday you can indulge your cravings for Italian cuisine with a sumptuous buffet. Thursday night is Prime Rib Night and Friday Seafood Night.
