Traveling to Cancun or the Riviera Maya soon? There’s plenty of summer fun at Royal Resorts with a full activity program lined up for you. Visit the Activity Center in your resort and check out the exciting program of activities for adults, children and teens.
Start with your daily workout: there’s yoga, zumba, pilates and stretching and aqua fitness to choose from during the morning. Practice your dance moves with salsa lessons and you’ll be ready for an evening of Latin dance rhythms.
Join the Royal Resorts Activity team for pool volleyball and then cool off poolside with a drink and a game of bingo or a music quiz.
Make your way to the beach at 3 p.m. for the daily volleyball game or challenge your friends to horseshoes or shuffleboard.
There are card games later in the afternoon at all the resorts and other surprises. At The Royal Islander guests can join a new summer mixology class on Friday and learn the cool art of cocktail making with the Royal Resorts bartenders.
If you are staying at The Royal Cancun or The Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya, sign up for snorkeling and kayaking or beach tennis if you are at The Royal Sands.
For more summer fun at Royal Resorts, remember that you can sign out tennis gear and basketballs and make court reservations at the Sports Desk.
Don’t miss the special evening shows in The Royal Haciendas during the week.
Kids stuff
Your children will have so much fun at the Kids Club that they won’t want to leave. Kids Club staff keep them busy and entertained with an action-packed program of beach and pool games, treasure hunts, movies and much more. For a bit of quiet time they can enjoy arts and crafts classes, painting, modeling with clay and learning how to make key chains and kites, Mayan headdresses and even Mexican piñatas.
The supervised Kids Clubs are open to children aged between four and 12 years at The Royal Sands, The Royal Cancun, The Royal Caribbean (also open to guests at The Royal Islander) and The Royal Haciendas. The Kids Club is covered by the annual Club Service Fee for members.
Plan your week of fun
Start planning your Activities now by looking at the current activity programs. Check the program at the Activity Center or with your Concierge upon arrival as activities are subject to change. The program is slightly different in each resort and in the event of bad weather, a Rainy Day program is offered.
