Pencil this fantastic new dining option in for your next Cancun vacation,  Wednesday night is now Caribbean night at Captain’s Cove, Cancun’s popular seafood restaurant on the shores of Nichupte Lagoon. Don’t miss the dance show, the tropical music and a delicious buffet of traditional Caribbean dishes.

Caribbean night at Captain’s Cove kicks off with a daiquiri, mojito, Mexican margarita, draft beer or a soda upon arrival in the tropical-style thatched palapa bar. Watch the sun go down as you get ready to help yourself to a Caribbean feast from the buffet.

The mouthwatering spread features classic Caribbean dishes such as jerk chicken from Jamaica, ropa vieja, which is beef stew from Cuba, Trinidad-style fish curry, seafood soup and rice cooked with a selection of seafood, plantain crisps and Moros y Cristianos, the Cuban recipe for rice and beans. There are ceviches, spiced crabs, BBQ pork ribs, fried fish empanadas, Cajun-style vegetables and tempting desserts made with coconut, mango and candied sweet potato.

Nine dancers in colorful costumes take to the stage to perform island dances in a fast-moving show featuring the rhythms of bachata, salsa, merengue, cumbia, mambo and chachacha. Your feet will soon be tapping and you’ll want to get out on the dance floor too!

Caribbean Night at Captain’s Cove costs $590 pesos per adult and includes the buffet, show and mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas, draft beer and sodas. If you have the REFINE All-Inclusive package it is included.
