The Royal Resorts Foundation has raised more than US$500,000 in seven years. A big thank you to all our donors – members, guests and employees alike – who have given generously to help the sick and the needy, support children’s education and to protect the area’s precious ecosystems and wildlife. Children’s education
- Scholarships for a class of 35 children at primary school in Colegio Mano Amiga
- Scholarships for university students
Health
- Vital cancer testing and treatment for women on a low income
- Physiotherapy for six children at the CRIT Rehabilitation Center to improve their motor and communication skills and give them a better future
Conservation
- Financial support for Amigos de Sian Ka’an conservation projects to protect the Yucatan Peninsula’s jungle, mangrove and marine ecosystems and wildlife
- Conservation of the area’s aquifers, underground rivers and cenotes
Employee Emergency Relief Fund
- Help for Royal Resorts employees in times of crisis, such as serious illnesses and major surgery
Community programs
- Participating in the creation of the new Parque Cancun
- Spreading Happiness events during the year for children and the elderly
- Volunteers for reforestation and beach cleaning campaigns
- Donations of food, linens and other items in low-income neighborhoods and rural communities
- Support for wildlife rescue and animal shelters
