As of April 14, 2018 Southwest Airlines will operate direct Saturday flights to Cancun from Columbus, Ohio and New Orleans (subject to government approval). Air Europa will also be offering three weekly flights to Cancun from Madrid starting this September.
The colonial treasures of Mexico’s Bajio region, Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende are now more accessible than ever with a new route offered by Mexican airline Interjet. The flight from Cancun to Guanajuato departs on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
