As winners of a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year running, Hacienda Sisal and Captain’s Cove, two of the Royal Restaurants in Cancun, have been welcomed into the Trip Advisor Hall of Fame, in recognition of their consistently high standards and the positive reviews they receive from diners.
In a romantic setting that evokes the haciendas of yesteryear, Hacienda Sisal, offers a selection of Mexican dishes, seafood, steaks and fajitas. Even more tasty traditional appetizers and main courses have been added to the menu recently and there’s a treat in store for diners on Thursday, pozole. This hearty pork and hominy broth is served with the customary garnish of lettuce, radish, tostadas, onion and cilantro.

Hacienda Sisal is open daily from 2 to 11 p.m. and located next to The Royal Sands, Sunday Brunch 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Captain’s Cove is an all-time favorite for fresh seafood, sunset views and dining on the deck by moonlight. Choose your favorite seafood dish from the menu or ask about the daily Chef’s specials made with the catch of the day. Don’t miss the Sunday Brunch or Prime Rib Night on Wednesday and Saturday.
After dinner at Captain’s Cove step next door to Pancho & Willy’s Bar for music, dancing and karaoke. The bar is named in honor of two crocodiles that were regular nighttime visitors to the restaurant and featured in many a vacation snapshot over the years.
Located opposite the Cancun Maya Museum, Captain’s Cove is open daily from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Pancho & Willy’s from 4 p.m.
The other Royal Resorts restaurants to receive the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2015 are El Conquistador at The Royal Islander and Los Murales at The Royal Haciendas in Playa del Carmen.
