The latest update from the Royal Resorts turtle team is that there are now 193 turtle nests in the corrals at The Royal Sands and The Royal Caribbean with 22,204 eggs. To date, 2,223 baby turtles have been released to begin life at sea.
This is the first season of turtle protection at our newest luxury resort Grand Residences Riviera Cancun, which is nestled on a beautiful beach to the south of Puerto Morelos. There are four nests in the corral and 319 baby turtles have already been released. Another 120 baby turtles are due to be set free tonight, September 2.
