On your marks, ready, get set, go! The London 2012 Olympic Games have finally arrived and you can keep tabs on all the sporting action in the Royal Resorts Bars: Sidelines at The Royal Sands, La Cabaña at The Royal Caribbean and La Rotonda at The Royal Haciendas.
Start by watching the Opening Ceremony followed by the athletes parade, the lighting of the Olympic flame and a fireworks display, the event begins at 3 p.m. Cancun time. Directed by Oscar-winning British film director Danny Boyle of Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire fame and featuring 15,000 performers, it promises to be a spectacular celebration of British history and traditions and of the Olympic spirit.
Support your national team and watch as famous sporting names strive for glory. Will Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt win the 100 and 200 meters as he did in Beijing? Watch as world records tumble and new stars emerge during the track and field events. What about US star Michael Phelps and Briton Rebecca Adlington in the swimming events?
