Meet some of the members of the Royal Resorts Family, the H. family from Indiana, they visited Cancun for the first time 20 years ago and now bring four generations of their family to vacation with them.
We caught up with Lloyd H during his recent stay at The Royal Sands. Lloyd and his wife are from Elkhart, Indiana and have been coming down to Cancun for 20 years now. They
love it so much that they now enjoy nine weeks at The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas and bring their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren down with them for a Royal Resorts family vacation! This year, all four generations were able to spend time together.
Lloyd says, “We love the way that people treat you here. Everyone is so friendly and courteous. The resorts are maintained so well, in fact The Royal Sands looks just the same as it did when it opened in 2000. I like the location, the proximity to malls and restaurants and the spectacular views of the beach and lagoon. And of course, the children love the pool.”
“Over the years we have visited all the area attractions, including Chichen Itza and Merida,” he adds, “This year, my wife and I, both in our 70s, went parasailing for the first time and we like the ultra light flights too. However, nowadays we enjoy much more time relaxing as a family. It is a real pleasure to be here together in such a beautiful place. “
“Royal Resorts is so family oriented, with so many activities for children and the staff is so nice, they make everyone feel so welcome,” says Lloyd, “It just seems to us that each generation returns to vacation here. In our case, this year we came down with our son, grandson and great grandson and together with me, they are all called Lloyd in keeping with the family tradition dating back to my own grandfather! “
Lloyd concludes, “My family has spent a total of 115 weeks at Royal Resorts over the years, it is our annual getaway and we treasure the family time we spend here.”
