Trip Advisor travelers have rated The Royal Sands as Cancun’s top family-friendly resort in the Travelers’ Choice Family Awards 2011. This is the second year running that the resort has been honored in this prestigious survey as Cancun’s family favorite. And in 2009, Royal Resorts also received the thumbs up from Trip Advisor users. Two of its resorts –The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun appeared in the world’s top 80 family resorts listing and were among the top ten family vacation spots for Mexico and the Caribbean in the Travelers’ Choice awards.
The accolades for The Royal Sands follows the January news that The Royal Cancun and The Royal Haciendas were awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2010 due to the high ratings they received from guests during the year.
The world’s largest online travel site, Trip Advisor receives 45 million visits on a monthly basis and has 20 million members.
