As of May 15, US$172,750 had been raised for the Royal Resorts Foundation causes: cancer screening and treatment, children’s education, conservation and the employee emergency relief fund.
Money is raised through the Dollar a Stay campaign, selling recycled trash, donations from members and employees, raffles and other activities.
In June, Royal Resorts also made another donation of kitchenware and a printer that was no longer in service at the resorts but still usable to the new fire station in Alfredo V. Bonfil district on the outskirts of Cancún.
