It’s been one year since the REFINE All-Inclusive package was launched at The Royal Cancun and average occupancy at the resort has risen to almost 89 percent in 2015 (week 1 to 12, it was 80.37 percent in 2014, up from 60 percent in 2013), with more rental reservations year-round, an indication that the package has boosted the resort’s appeal in the market.
The sheltered beach setting makes The Royal Cancun perfect for families and many of the all-inclusive guests staying at the resort bring their children for a taste of the home away from home ambiance that members know and love.
The introduction of REFINE All-Inclusive at The Royal Cancun brought with it expanded amenities and activities for members to enjoy, regardless of whether they choose to book the package or not. The new Italian restaurant La Trattoria, has been well received by members and guests and the feedback about other resort services such as the sports bar, the kids club, room service and the poolside grill bar in Phase II has also been very positive.
New activities introduced in 2014 at The Royal Cancun include kayaking, paddle boarding and croquet and more are planned this year with the launch of a fun program for families focusing on the area’s natural heritage, ecosystems and Mayan culture.
Higher occupancy levels also enabled Management to reopen the villa buildings facing the lagoon.
