Will you be staying at Royal Resorts during April or early May? You can help the Royal Resorts Foundation to spread some happiness to needy and sick children in Cancún by giving toys. We have launched a new Toy Drive for a Dr. Sonrisas Children’s Party on May 9 to celebrate Children’s Day (April 30) and we would love your support.
If you would like to donate a toy for children between the ages of 5 and 12, here is the list of suggested toys and games:
- Dolls
- Cars and other vehicles*
- Balls
- Board games
- Art and craft games
- Children’s books in Spanish
- Bags of candy for the piñatas
* Please do not donate battery-operated toys, guns or other war games
Toys and games can be dropped off at the Front Desk in your resort. The closing date for the Toy Drive is May 6.
The Royal Resorts Foundation supported two Dr. Sonrisas children’s parties in 2014. Watch the videos and read our posts and see the smiles on the faces of the children who were the guests of honor at these very special events.
If you are not going to be in Cancun in April but would like to support our event, why not donate online at www.royalresortsfoundation.org One of the Royal Resorts Foundation causes is children’s education, providing scholarships for pupils from disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds which enable them to study at the Mano Amiga School in Ciudad de la Alegría on the outskirts of Cancún.
