Construction is now underway on the new Town Center mall in Puerto Cancun and the inauguration is expected to take place in late 2016. With views of the Caribbean and Puerto Cancun marina, the new shopping center will be the largest in the state of Quintana Roo. In addition to more than 100 stores – including international brands such as Brooks Brothers and Banana Republic – restaurants, cafes and other services, Town Center will also have a Cinepolis entertainment center with 16 movie theaters.
In other shopping news, the expansion of Luxury Avenue in Plaza Kukulcan continues. The latest addition due to open this summer is a Forever 21 store that will extend over two floors. Fashionistas in search of vibrant styles, shades and eclectic jewelry will always find plenty to choose from in the Concept Store in the corner of the mezzanine behind the café. This creative and colorful outlet showcases the seasonal collections of some of Mexico and Latin America’s finest young designers.
